Southern Winds Equine Rescue had the pleasure and benefits of utilizing and receiving the services of Angelina Schwebke of Integrity Equine Massage.

The results of the massages on rescue horses at the center has enabled us to gain total confidence of one horse in particular. This horse had been physically abused by the owner and she had a fear of everyone that would attempt to remove or replace her halter or groom her.

After the first massage I noticed a slight change in her attitude towards me when I would touch her halter or place the lead rope on her, each time she was massaged I was able to make more progress with her.

Today I can groom her, halter her in the stall or pasture and she is totally relaxed with me and with Angelina. In fact at the last massage she stood perfectly still without being held.

I would recommend to all horse owners that experience a horse that is stiff, tender or tense that they try massage therapy on their horse.
